Sonesta is proud to invite your cuddly companions and provide special amenities like comfy pet beds, bowls, waterproof mats, and treats at check-in. We’ll greet your pet with an arrival letter outlining our local recommendations for a “pawsome” stay.  

Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island is pet friendly and welcomes well-mannered dogs up to 40 pounds each with no breed restrictions. Guests traveling with dogs will be assigned to the first floor, and up to two (2) dogs are permitted per accommodation.

 A pet fee of $50 per day is charged, up to a total of $200 per stay.

More Information About Just Us Kids

Just Us Kids is Sonesta Resort’s supervised kids club for ages 5-12. Children must meet age requirements at the time camp services are provided. Children should arrive at the “Just Us Kids” center (located near the fitness center) with sunscreen applied and in swim appropriate clothing. Counselors will apply additional sunscreen as necessary. Water is provided but we encourage the use of refillable water bottles. Please ensure that all belongings are labeled. Please provide a dry set of clothing to change into after swim or beach play. Towels are provided. Children must be capable of using the restroom and dressing themselves without assistance.

Please note that excessive disruptive behavior or bullying of other campers is not tolerated. Just Us Kids is an inclusive and safe space for all children. We reserve the right to refuse camp service due to inappropriate behavior.

Parents must sign children in and out from camp. Late pick-ups directly impact the camp experience and safety of our children. Additional fees for late pick-ups are $25 per each 10 minute increment.

If your child is not feeling well, do not bring them to camp.

Times and activities are approximate and may change without notice.

*Advance reservations are required for all programs. Reservations are based on availability as space is limited. Failure to provide 24 hour notice of cancellation will result in a full charge.

Sweet Cane Bar and Grille 

Our pool side bar and grill, features a full bar with a focus on frozen drinks. The food menu features traditional pool side fare and includes adult and child options.

Driftwood Rum Bar

Adjacent to our lobby, the Driftwood Rum Bar is open in the evenings, daily. The upscale bar atmosphere is geared towards creative craft cocktails, featuring a wide selection of rum and local spirits. The food menu is small bites, perfect for sharing with friends and group gatherings.

The Patio

Features multiple televisions and draft beer selections. A perfect space for catching a game and enjoying a casual food menu, with a gastropub feel.

Sea Glass Provisions

Located in the lobby area, it is the perfect stop for breakfast or lunch on the go. The coffee shop features a selection of espresso beverages and bakeries for breakfast, while providing sandwiches and pizza for a quick lunch.

3. When is the check-in/checkout time at your Hilton Head hotel? Is there a minimum age to check in?

Check-in is available from 4:00PM. There may be a fee for early check-in, depending on availability. Checkout time is 11:00AM, with the option of late check-out for an additional fee, pending availability. The minimum age to check in is 21.

4. Do your rooms have kitchenettes with microwaves?

Our rooms feature mini-refrigerators and coffee makers. Select rooms include kitchenettes with microwaves.

5. Do you offer a shuttle service from Savannah airport to Hilton Head Island?

We do not provide an airport shuttle service. However, we can assist you in finding and booking a convenient SAV airport ride to or from Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island.

6. Do you have an onsite laundry service?

Guests can take advantage of the hotel's dry cleaning and laundry services during their stay.
